ITRANS™ Communication Agent Update (for ABELDent versions 5.20B08 and greater)

The ITRANS™ update contains additions to the ITRANS™ Communication Agent information file (ica.ini) to support the latest insurance carriers that accept electronic claim submissions and the latest version of the Windows ITRANS Communications Agent (ica.exe).  These files were released by CSI on March 17, 2009.

You may wish to print this page before proceeding with the update.

The ITRANS™ Component update must be installed on the Server only.

1. Exit from ABELDent prior to installing.
2. From your Server, download and SAVE the ICAUpdate.exe file to your Desktop.
3. Navigate to your Desktop and locate the downloaded ICAUpdate.exe file.
4. Double click the ICAUpdate.exe file.
5. If prompted to overwrite an existing file, answer YES.
6. The ITRANS™ component on your server will automatically update.
7. You must reboot your server for the updated changes to take effect.
